I am seeking an Executive Chef to oversee two fabulous sites within the Contract catering sector. These two venues deliver a mixture of catering services including staff dining and hospitality as well as amazing events. I am looking for a passionate and ambitious chef who strives for success and can lead the food offering across both sites.
This role requires an Executive Chef who can not only deliver the strategic planning and development of the food but will also be hands-on, working alongside the brigades within the sites. This Executive Chef will need to be high energy and love the buzz of hospitality events. You will work closely with the General Managers to ensure standards are raised and maintained.
These two unique sites are creative and modern. This Executive Chef will also need to be creative to manage both sites that have different offers: one being more retail and hospitality led and the other being more staff dining and events led. If you are currently running a large kitchen within a B&I site or working for a modern events company and looking for something a little different, then this is a great opportunity.
This Executive Chef role is hands-on, and your craft skills are important to drive the teams forward. I am looking for an Executive Chef who can be flexible and manage their time with the business demands. This is a great opportunity to really stamp your mark on the two venues, one being a very iconic venue alongside another modern B&I site.
- Executive Chef or Senior Head Chef with a proven record
- Strong craft skills to lead the kitchens
- Overseeing two busy sites across London
- Contract catering and events experience is desirable
- Flexible to lead events within this iconic venue
- Being hands-on is key when required
- Menu development for both sites working closely with General Managers
- Good understanding of numbers and costing is essential
- Food safety and allergen knowledge
- Needs to be organized and a good manager of time; this role will involve some weekends and evenings
- You will build strong client relationships across both sites
