A well-established and much-loved restaurant group is bringing its hugely popular concept to London, and we're looking for an experienced, results-driven Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house operation.

The Role

As Kitchen Manager, you will take full ownership of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food while maintaining tight control over costs, compliance, and team performance. You'll be responsible for leading a team of 4–5 BOH staff, driving standards, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during both prep and service & reporting to the Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent execution of menu specifications to brand standard
  • Control operational costs through portion accuracy, waste monitoring, and efficient production
  • Minimise waste while maintaining quality and consistency
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety systems (FMMS), Health & Safety, and allergen regulations
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen
  • Lead, train, and develop a BOH team of 4–5 staff
  • Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
  • Manage supplier relationships, ordering, and stock control

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of cost control, GP, and waste reduction
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for consistency and standards
  • Confident leading and developing teams
  • Solid knowledge of compliance, including food safety, allergens, and H&S
  • Hands-on, organised, and calm under pressure
