We are looking for a driven, ambitious Head Chef ready to take ownership of a sushi and Hand Rolled focused restaurant in Central London and truly stamp their mark on it. This is an amazing opportunity to be involved in a great project with the chance to move into an Exec role as the business grows with new openings.
This Head Chef will be the face of the restaurant, be involved in socials, and make the restaurant successful which will lead to the group growing. I am looking for an experienced sushi chef who loves his craft and wants to share it with customers. A strong communicator to be able to show them what you can do.
This is a role for a Head Chef who wants more than day-to-day service — someone who wants to shape standards, build a strong team, and make an impact on the restaurant scene. As well as being able to produce amazing Hand Rolled sushi, I am also looking for a strong leader who can develop the brigade and ensure everything runs smoothly from front of house to back of house. This is very much the role for a Head Chef that wants to progress and really make a difference.
The Role- Lead the kitchen with confidence and clear direction
- Deliver a focused, high-quality sushi and hand-roll menu (nigiri, sashimi, maki, temaki)
- Ensure every dish is clean, consistent, and well presented
- Take full control of kitchen operations, standards, and performance
- Manage stock, food cost, and all back-of-house paperwork
- Train, develop, and motivate your team
- Engage with guests and bring energy to the dining experience
- Strong experience as a Head Chef within sushi and hand-roll concepts
- Skilled across nigiri, sashimi, maki, and hand rolls
- A natural leader who sets standards and drives performance
- Highly organised with a solid grasp of back-of-house systems and admin
- Confident, presentable, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Detail-focused with pride in presentation and consistency
