About the Role
Berkeley Scott, one of the UK’s leading hospitality recruitment agencies, is currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to support a variety of clients within the Education and Healthcare sectors across London. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, weekday work with the potential to secure long term or permanent positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is clean and organised
- Supporting chefs and kitchen teams during busy service periods
- Adhering to all food safety and health & safety regulations
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday (weekends typically off)
- Various shift patterns available: Start times between 7:00am – 10:00am, Finish times between 2:00pm – 6:00pm
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce) – essential
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar role
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent)
- Two employment references
- Strong reliability and excellent timekeeping
