We are seeking a professional Housekeeper with exceptional standards to join the team on a newly launched luxury train, offering unforgettable 6- and 3-day excursions through the breathtaking British and Welsh countryside. This is a rare opportunity to combine 5-star hospitality with travel — and save money while doing so.
The Role
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the immaculate condition of 18 bespoke, beautifully designed cabins, working closely with a tight-knit team of 4 stewards under the guidance of the Head of Housekeeping. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering 5-star housekeeping services in line with luxury hotel standards
- Maintaining exceptional levels of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail
- Ensuring cabins and public areas are spotless and guest-ready at all times
- Supporting turndown services, linen care, and replenishment of amenities
- Being a warm, discreet presence onboard for our high-end clientele
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in luxury 5-star hotels or similar high-end hospitality environments
- Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A meticulous eye for cleanliness, presentation, and detail
- Willingness to sleep onboard the train during excursions (accommodation, uniform, and all meals provided)
- A strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting
- References are essential and will be checked prior to appointment
