This is not a standard operations role. It’s an opportunity to help shape the operational backbone of a high-growth concession retail and food & beverage business on the verge of significant UK expansion. We are a fast-growing, ambitious brand based in Central London, preparing for nationwide rollout. We are seeking a commercially astute, operationally experienced, and field-focused Head of Operations to work directly with the Founder.
This individual will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to drive performance, efficiency, and growth across a multi-site estate. If you have experience scaling a small retail or concession-based food & beverage business, opening multiple sites (15+), and building high-performing operational teams, this is a unique opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with autonomy, visibility, and the chance to shape a brand at a pivotal stage of its growth.
The Role
- Own operational and commercial performance across a growing portfolio of concession retail and food & beverage sites nationwide.
- Partner directly with the Founder to define and execute operational strategy during a key growth phase.
- Lead field-based operations, training, and performance coaching across all site teams.
- Build, develop, and mentor site managers and future operational leaders.
- Manage key commercial partnerships that support national expansion.
- Analyse sales, gross profit, labour, and operational KPIs to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee new site openings and ensure smooth, scalable rollouts.
- Implement robust systems, processes, and training frameworks to support rapid expansion.
- Drive operational excellence, brand consistency, and outstanding customer experience across all locations.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and sector performance to maintain competitive advantage.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, food safety, and operational standards.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in multi-site retail, concession, or food & beverage operations with strong field leadership exposure.
- Proven track record of scaling operations, opening new sites, or leading fast-growth expansion.
- Strong commercial acumen with confidence in P&L management, forecasting, labour control, and margin optimisation.
- Comfortable working closely with founders and senior leadership in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence both internal teams and external partners.
- Highly analytical with a strong operational mindset and focus on execution.
- Energised by rapid growth, high accountability, and building structure within a scaling business.
- Excited by the opportunity to help take a Central London brand to a nationwide presence.
