We're working with a growing branded restaurant group on the appointment of a Head Chef for their new city centre opening in January. This is a high volume operation, so the successful Head Chef will ideally come from a branded restaurant or high volume background and will be comfortable and confident leading a back of house team of 15 to 19 staff, across chefs and kitchen team. Experience with stock control and ordering systems is essential.
The group invests heavily in its people, with structured development, an annual trip abroad for senior kitchen management and healthcare. We are looking for a Head Chef who takes ownership, develops their team and takes pride in the detail rather than someone simply looking for their next job.
Candidates will need to be available to start in early January in order to be in place ahead of the opening. As this is a brand new opening, the incoming Head Chef will have the opportunity to build and develop their own brigade and set standards in the kitchen from day one.
