We’re recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager or Executive Head Chef to lead the catering operation at a prestigious independent school in the City of London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented, hands‑on senior chef to take ownership of a high-quality food operation, leading a professional kitchen team and delivering fresh, seasonal and creative food to pupils, staff and guests.
The Role
You’ll take overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day kitchen operation, combining strong culinary leadership with effective people and operational management.
- Deliver fresh, seasonal and high-quality food across the school.
- Develop creative menus that meet nutritional, dietary and allergen requirements.
- Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health & safety and compliance.
- Oversee catering for school events, functions and hospitality.
About You
We’re looking for an accomplished Chef Manager, Executive Head Chef or Senior Chef with experience leading a high-quality catering operation.
You’ll ideally have experience within independent schools, B&I, or hotels together with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering excellent food at volume.
You’ll be:
- A confident and inspirational culinary leader.
- Hands‑on and passionate about fresh, seasonal food.
- Commercially aware, with strong knowledge of budgets, stock and GP.
