About the Role
Berkeley Scott is seeking experienced Chef Managers to join schools, colleges, and other educational establishments. This is a fantastic opportunity for chefs who are passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals in a professional and structured environment.
As a Chef Manager in Education, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing kitchen staff
- Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced meals for students and staff
- Ensuring full compliance with Food Safety and Allergen Regulations
- Managing stock control, budgets, and ordering
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and health & safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef Manager or senior chef role
- Valid Enhanced DBS
- Food Safety Level 2 & Food Allergy Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to the education catering environment
- Competitive pay starting from £18.00 per hour
