Our client requires a Catering Manager to run a contract in the provision of high end client catering, a great environment in which to work. They are currently seeking an experienced Catering or Chef Manager, preferably with a background in business catering, to take up the challenge.
Job Description:
Working on a Monday to Friday basis with some Saturdays, you will be managing a team of 5 providing catering to circa 200 staff plus hospitality. You will be involved in the day to day catering services on site and work with suitable menus that exceed expectations. Alongside this, you will ensure that all health, safety and hygiene standards are met. An experience and knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens is essential. Stock and financial control is also in your remit.
Required Experience:
You will have experience of the provision of food to similar volume at Catering or Chef Manager level in a busy business and industry contract. As this role is based in both FOH and BOH, a strong craft background is essential. You will need to demonstrate a record of success and the drive and desire always increase standards of food and service. A knowledge of modern food trends and commerciality is paramount.
Salary and Benefits:
The starting salary for this role is £33,000p/a.
