Berkeley Scott seeks experienced Care Home Chefs for temporary agency work in Taunton and the surrounding Bridgwater area. This temporary contract offers from £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and location, plus holiday pay.
Duties
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Following all food hygiene procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Following all food hygiene and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience working in care home kitchens
- A strong understanding of specialist diets and nutritional requirements
- An Enhanced DBS certificate
- Good knowledge of Health and Food Safety standards
Working patterns vary according to individual home requirements, with competitive rates paid weekly.
Pay rates start from £16.00 per hour depending on experience.
