Your Duties Will Include
- Washing pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operating commercial dishwashers
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and food preparation areas
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Removing waste and keeping refuse areas clean and tidy
- Supporting chefs and catering teams with general kitchen duties
- Following food safety and allergen regulations at all times
- Assisting with end-of-service and end-of-day kitchen clean downs
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Kitchen Porter
- Experience within education catering is advantageous but not essential
- Food Safety and Food Allergen certificates, or willingness to complete them
- Enhanced DBS with Children''s Barred List Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay rates are dependent on experience, client requirements, and individual assignments.
