Berkeley Scott are recruiting experienced School Chefs for a range of temporary assignments across Cirencester and the surrounding locations. We work with a variety of primary schools, secondary schools, academies and educational settings, providing temporary chef cover for holidays, sickness, vacancies and additional operational support. We are looking for dependable chefs who can hit the ground running in busy catering environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals for pupils and staff
- Supporting the day-to-day running of school kitchens
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards
- Catering for allergens and special dietary requirements
- Assisting with stock control, food preparation and kitchen cleanliness
Essential Requirements:
- Previous Chef experience within schools, education catering, care homes, contract catering or high-volume kitchens
- A current Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate
- Strong understanding of allergens and special dietary requirements
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
