The Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating delivery across the BRG AI Lab engineering teams, particularly when development is distributed across nearshore or offshore locations. This role ensures that infrastructure, applications, and AI platform components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

The Technical Project Manager works closely with the AI Systems Architect, Product Manager, and engineering teams to manage project timelines, track technical dependencies, and ensure efficient collaboration across distributed teams. This role is critical for maintaining delivery velocity and alignment as the AI Lab scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage delivery of AI platform initiatives across engineering teams
  • Coordinate work between infrastructure, applications, and data engineering teams
  • Manage development cycles, sprint planning, and release schedules
  • Track technical dependencies and ensure alignment between teams
  • Coordinate work across offshore and nearshore engineering teams
  • Maintain project timelines and delivery milestones
  • Communicate progress, risks, and blockers to leadership
  • Ensure engineering teams follow development processes and standards
Qualifications
  • 9+ years’ experience managing technical projects or engineering programs
  • Experience working with distributed engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
  • Experience managing infrastructure, data platform, or AI/ML projects
  • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with engineering workflows, CI/CD, and platform development
  • Excellent English Language skills both written and verbal
  • Experience leading complex project environments and working with highly collaborative teams
