Berkeley Group builds homes and neighbourhoods across London, Birmingham and the South of England. We specialise in brownfield regeneration, reviving underused land to ZERO. Berkeley St Edward London is a key part of the Berkeley Group, and we deliver projects under both the Berkeley and St Edward brands. St Edward is a Joint Venture with M&G Investments. Our central London projects include 9 Millbank, West End Gate and Trillium in Marylebone, Oval Village, and Parkside at Chelsea Bridge. The Outer London projects include Eden Grove in Staines and The Exchange Watford, Syon Lane in Osterley and North Street in Guildford.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide a professional and efficient service to all prospective and current customers and to secure the required profitable sales with the aim of achieving financial targets and an excellent customer experience in accordance with the commitments and ambitions of Vision2030.
- To maintain the presentation of the sales areas to the highest standard.
- To understand the USPs of the development and how they evolve through the development sales cycle.
- To research the marketplace and use the data to sell above the competition.
- To effectively manage a sales database to optimise sales opportunities.
- To generate potential sales leads in addition to those created by marketing activity.
- To sell in line with target whilst maximising profit.
- To maximise the telephone & virtual reality as a sales tool.
- To apply effective selling skills in order to exceed required profitable sales targets.
- To progress secured reservations to completion.
- To anticipate and manage the threat of cancellation and minimise the cancellation rates.
- To ensure a smooth journey for the customer and the company during the legal process.

The initial 12 months of this role will be based in Reading. Thereafter, the role will transition to a different development located in the Fleet or Guildford area. Due to the nature of this role, weekend working will be required. Typically, one in every four weekends is offered off on a rota basis.
