- What you'll be doing
- Lead in the co-ordination and production of assigned Berkeley development marketing materials including brochures, signage, advertising creative, digital communications and other ad-hoc materials to maximise brand promotion and delivery of effective campaigns.
- Research of background development information and defining/producing creative brief for required marketing material.
- Brief and manage external agencies to ensure timely delivery of marketing tools to support to sales process including : development models, CGI imagery, interactive apartment finders and promotional videos.
- Proofread all marketing and sales collateral to ensure information is accurate and in accordance with the development and Berkeley brand guidelines.
- Line management responsibility for the marketing executives, providing guidance, leadership and setting KP1’s for their personal and professional development.
- Organise and co-ordinate all development launches and events, including international events, corporate and community events.
- Produce appropriate timelines for projects as required. Maintaining a monthly events schedule detailing all promotional activity and circulate to all relevant parties.
- Production of display materials, invitations and advertising campaigns for international exhibitions and co-ordinating export/ delivery accordingly.
- Collate information across the marketing mix for Berkeley St James reports.
- Liaise with Berkeley group IT to ensure up to date and accurate content is displayed on the development web pages and property portals, instructing updates and production of digital assets accordingly.
- Plan development email campaigns for sales launches, events and development phases, supported by the marketing executive , which will be distributed to the development sales database, preferred agents and property portal databases.
- Media planning and booking in conjunction with the media buying agency, managing advert production accordingly to schedule.
- Evaluate effectiveness of all marketing activities through reporting and analysis to aid future planning of marketing activities.
- Research and explore different avenues of digital marketing for each development, planning and tracking targeted digital campaigns.
- Monitor monthly PPC (Pay Per Click) reports to ensure campaigns are current and performing effectively.
- Day to day liaison with the sales teams to ensure they are fully stocked with brochures and other marketing collateral and ensuring the information in the sales and marketing suites and online is up to date.
- Instruct and project manage show home furniture installations and photography/videography shoots.
- Manage allocation and spend of budgets, work with the finance team on a monthly basis to forecast future expenditure, raise PO’s, negotiate costs with suppliers to fit budget cross quoting as appropriate, track PO’s against budget.
- Manage the flow of marketing information for the Head of Sales & Marketing and prepare information for management meetings and board meetings as required.
- Conduct regular site walks to ensure all developments are presenting to the highest standard.
- Organise all estate signage and landscaping to ensure the development is well presented at all times
- Attend the monthly marketing managers meeting to share and understand latest news and insights across Berkeley Group
- Liaise with all departments to drive the achievement of complete value for money and profitable schemes for the benefit of the company and it’s customers
- Fulfilment of requests for marketing services from internal departments
- Liaison with the PR agency on press releases, requests for editorial , any potential media opportunities and award entries.
Checking and approving as necessary and co-ordination of director approval.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies that support the sales objectives for each development.
- What you'll bring
- Excellent written English and good level of numeracy essential.
- A marketing degree or equivalent is preferred.
- CIM qualified – Advanced Certificate in Marketing
- Proven marketing experience in a similar environment either client or agency side (with experience in traditional and digital marketing, as well and events, comms, and PR).
- Experience using the major web technologies and applications
- Proactive and highly organised.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver projects on time and on budget essential.
- Driving high performance from a team, ensures quality delivery is right first time.
- Experience in managing marketing agencies / external suppliers.
- Full, clean, driving licence.
