We are looking for a motivated Marketing Manager to take responsibility for managing brand and marketing strategy across our BtR portfolio. You will work alongside external partners and the community teams to support community building and marketing campaign rollouts. You will play an integral role in the development of overall marketing planning and strategy across our portfolio, reporting into the Head of Operations and working on operational neighbourhoods and launching our BtR brand in various new locations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on brand and marketing strategy for our new communities.
- Manage day-to-day marketing activities including platform management, campaigns, media partnerships, communications and projects from mobilisation to stabilisation against our business plan.
- Take ownership of marketing budgets and regularly track and report on spend.
- Manage and support on building launch activities when we launch a new community, working alongside the leasing and operation teams and PR agency to promote our community within the market.
- Maintenance of key marketing channels to ensure standards remain high and content is up to date and regularly refreshed.
- Creation and upkeep of marketing assets such as photography, brochures, floorplans and video content.
- Communicating with existing or new partners to scope out, coordinate and deliver campaigns including influencers, agencies, partner brands and media outlets (TV, radio, OOH).
- Responsible for advance planning and highlighting project support needed such as design or content resource.
- Identify upfront and brief key projects to in-house team and/or agencies.
- Regular presentation creation and presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to present key marketing updates to the senior team.
- Manage and support on key marketing and brand events such as open days and community milestones.
- Regular competitor analysis and research of BTR and consumer brands, for insights and inspiration including visiting competition in each city.
- Represent the brand and be a key attendee for external events and networking opportunities.
Experience required:
- Previous Marketing Manager or Senior Executive experience.
- Strong organisational skills with a track record of results-driven success.
- Able to manage multiple projects efficiently and delegate/brief support as needed.
- Ability to manage own deadlines and take ownership, regularly reporting progress updates to line manager.
- Team player with a “no task too small” attitude, great ability to work alongside team and work collaboratively across projects.
- Experience creating and executing strong marketing plans to hit set targets.
- Budget experience and familiar with reporting and cash flow management.
- Experience building presentations and presenting confidently.
- A confident communicator, used to presenting to varied audiences.
- Exceptional eye for detail with strong time and project management skills.
- A reasonable “perfectionist” who’s passionate about getting the job right.
- Outgoing and confident outlook with a willingness to get stuck in.
- Problem solver with good ideas who uses initiative and is proactive.
- A good professional approach to work and able to adapt between informal and formal settings.
- Up to date with current brands and lifestyle trends.
- Confidence to raise concerns and ask questions as needed.
- Proactive and looks for answers rather than waits for them to ensure projects progress efficiently, and reports updates to keep team in the know.
- Agile and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Able to work reactively as needed, to focus on key priorities as day requires.
- Good grammar and experience producing communications and copywriting.
- An ability to think strategically and come up with marketing ideas, ability to understand market trends and respond to customers’ wants and needs.
- Proven track record of delivering high quality marketing campaigns and able to report on ROI.
This role is based in Vauxhall, with site travel required.
