The Role
As Events Manager, you'll oversee the planning and execution of the organisation's full events calendar — from flagship conferences and awards to seminars, training sessions, and networking functions. You'll play a key role in shaping the events strategy, ensuring that every event reflects the organisation's professional standards and supports its mission to advance excellence across the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a diverse programme of in-person, hybrid, and online events across the UK.
- Manage all logistical aspects, including venue sourcing, supplier management, delegate registration, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams, committees, and industry speakers to develop relevant, high-impact event content.
- Manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring value for money and flawless execution.
- Work with the marketing and communications teams to maximise attendance and engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members, sponsors, and partners within the insurance community.
About You
You'll be a seasoned events professional with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Experience within a professional membership body, trade association, or the wider insurance/financial services sector would be highly advantageous.
You’ll bring:
- A proven track record in managing professional or corporate events end-to-end.
- You must have experience managing a team.
