This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, detail-oriented event professional who thrives on managing high-profile events and wants to make a meaningful impact within a purpose-driven organisation.

The Role

As Events Manager, you’ll oversee the planning and execution of the organisation’s full events calendar — from flagship conferences and awards to seminars, training sessions, and networking functions. You’ll play a key role in shaping the events strategy, ensuring that every event reflects the organisation’s professional standards and supports its mission to advance excellence across the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a diverse programme of in-person, hybrid, and online events across the UK.
  • Manage all logistical aspects, including venue sourcing, supplier management, delegate registration, and on-site coordination.

You’ll be a seasoned events professional with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Experience within a professional membership body, trade association, or the wider insurance/financial services sector would be highly advantageous. You’ll bring:

  • A proven track record in managing professional or corporate events end-to-end.
  • You must have experience managing a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
