Are you looking for a new career working within the food industry? Insight Employment are currently seeking Production Operatives to work for a leading bakery in Milton Keynes. This is a temporary to permanent role with fantastic progression prospects. This is based in North Milton Keynes. The starting salary once permanent is over £25,800 per annum with many incentives including bonuses and overtime rates. There is a good record of progression within the business also. This is working in an ambient temperature and not chilled or freezer production work.
The Role:
- This role involves working on a production line of a food manufacturing company.
- Packing bread products and quality checking for any defects to start with, however when you start training there are lots of different roles available within the business.
Requirements:
- Previous food production experience ideally but not essential.
- Must be able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
- Good level of personal hygiene.
- Must be a team player.
Continental shifts and hours:
- The shifts rotate weekly between days and nights when permanent and training to go permanent.
- There are opportunities to work day shifts or night shifts on the packing team before going permanent.
Day shift: 4 days on, 4 days off 06:00am-18:00pm
Night shift: 4 days on, 4 days off 18:00pm-06:00am
Rates:
- Days - £12.44 per hour
- Nights - £13.44 per hour
