Insight Employment is urgently seeking Counterbalance Flt Drivers for a client in Buckingham. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport or live locally.
The Client: Our client has been producing timber products since 1945 and is a leading supplier of specialised timber products and an advanced manufacturer of pallets in the UK. They supply a wide range of pallets and timber products across the UK and Europe.
The Role: As a Counterbalance Flt Driver, you will move stock inside and outside the yard for a timber manufacturing company. On-site training is provided.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Stocking production lines/Off-loading manufactured goods
- Unloading raw materials
- Loading finished products
- Housekeeping duties
- Maintaining a safe work area and completing daily checks
- Previous experience with timber products is advantageous
- Flexible approach to learning new skills
- Comply with health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Experience as a Counterbalance driver
- Valid Counterbalance licence (refresher within 3 years)
- Ability to read tape measures and understand the metric system
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent timekeeping
- Fluent English communication skills

Hours/Shift:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30-17:00
