Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with expertise in Transformation/Change Management who can evaluate our Operations department and strategically position it for future growth. As an Operations Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations, identifying areas for improvement, and scaling the team as required.The need is immediate, and is likely to be a temporary position (for 3-6 months) but could also turn into permanent depending on the applicant.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

• Evaluate the current operations processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement a comprehensive transformation strategy to optimize the Operations department for future growth
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and align operational objectives with business goals
• Lead the hiring process to build a high-performing team, ensuring the recruitment of talented individuals who can contribute to the department\’s success
• Implement and enhance operational policies and procedures to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas requiring further attention or improvement
• Provide guidance and support to the Operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support, to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Who You Are / What You Have:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations, preferably in the FX or wider Finance industry
• At least 5 years of experience leading and managing a team, demonstrating strong leadership skills
• Proven expertise in transformation and change management, with a track record of successfully driving operational improvements
• In-depth knowledge of operational best practices, process optimisation, and automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines
• Strong understanding of the FX industry and related operations, including trading platforms, risk management, and regulatory requirements
