About the role:
This is a customer-facing role within a fast-growing UK-based SaaS company serving deskless and field-based workforces. The Account Director will own a portfolio of strategic customers, carrying a revenue quota across renewals and expansion, while acting as a trusted commercial partner to multiple stakeholders on the client side. The role combines account strategy and hands-on deal execution, working closely with Product, Customer Success, and sector leadership to drive adoption, demonstrate measurable business value, and unlock long-term growth opportunities across complex enterprise environments.
What you'll do:
- Own and deliver a revenue quota, increasing ARR through timely renewals and strategic upsell opportunities across your portfolio.
- Travel the UK working with customers on-site to close existing opportunities and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Be responsible for the renewals of existing platform use and engage with the CS team to ensure full utilisation, expanding adoption of workflows, use cases, and best practices.
- Be responsible for cold calling (or gaining referrals) into new business units.
- Grow our ecosystem within each customer, nurturing champions, cross-functional engagement, and wider product utilisation.
- Manage and arrange the Business Unit QBRs and lead on meeting agendas that demonstrate business value, align goals, and identify future expansion opportunities.
- Work alongside the Sector VP who supports in setting strategic direction, Product Services lead who leads on Solution Design, and CS who manage and improve ongoing usage.
- Attend site visits, testing days, and industry events.
- Drive customer advocacy, securing references, testimonials, and customer stories in partnership with Marketing.
Who you are:
- Proven experience in B2B SaaS account management, customer success, or a similar revenue-linked role, ideally with clients who use field agents or contractors in the physical world (think utilities, gas, energy, telecoms).
- A strong track record of renewals, upsells, and driving expansion within an existing customer base.
- A structured, strategic approach to account planning, including familiarity with Gold/Blue Sheets, MEDDIC, or similar frameworks.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust, influence stakeholders, and operate as a strategic partner.
- The confidence and commercial acumen to own a quota, forecast accurately, and prioritise opportunities based on impact.
- A proactive, curious mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams.
