As a Facilities Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the support, maintenance, and installation of IoT-connected parking technology, including payment kiosks, CCTV, and related hardware. This is a field-based role that involves regular travel across the North UK, often at short notice. You’ll play a key part in keeping our systems running smoothly and ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support & Maintenance: Install and configure IoT-connected devices, CCTV systems, and payment kiosks at new and existing sites. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, resolving them efficiently both on-site and remotely. Conduct proactive maintenance visits to ensure systems are operating at peak performance.
- Project & Documentation Management: Use Jira to manage and complete support tasks, installations, and maintenance jobs. Document site conditions, installation processes, and support actions with clear notes, photos, and reports. Help with pre-installation preparations, making sure equipment and tools are ready before deployment.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the Real Estate Manager, sales, and onboarding teams to support project delivery. Share feedback from the field to improve system performance and internal processes. Travel extensively across the North UK in response to support needs and scheduled work.
- Technical Skills & Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a hands-on technical support or installation role (e.g., CCTV, telecoms, electrical, or field service). Experience with IoT devices, payment kiosks, and CCTV systems is highly desirable. Comfortable using Jira or similar task tracking systems. Solid understanding of basic electrical work and hardware installation.

Self-starter – works independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail – delivers high-quality, reliable work on every visit.
