Your Opportunity
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to be right at the heart of how a business runs. As Executive Assistant, you’ll report to the Chief People Officer and support the wider C‑Suite team across People, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. You’ll be a trusted go-to person, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes while also getting exposure to the bigger picture.
This role is perfect for someone who’s naturally organised, curious about how things work, and wants to be part of something meaningful. You’ll be seen as more than an EA; you’ll be a key part of the leadership rhythm and a valued voice in the room.
How You’ll Make a Difference
In this role, you’ll be a key part of what keeps the leadership team focused, connected, and moving forward. By creating space for the C‑Suite to do their best thinking and decision‑making, you’ll have a direct impact on how the business runs day to day. You’ll bring clarity to busy schedules, help shape communication that reaches the whole company, and be a steady presence in moments of pace and change. Your ability to stay one step ahead, build trusted relationships, and bring a sense of calm and care to everything you do will make you an essential part of the team.
You will not be supporting from the sidelines, but someone who helps shape how we work together at the top. Everyone at BKL plays a part in building an honest, successful business that does things differently and does the right thing.
In this role, you will:
- Support the C‑Suite
- Manage diaries across the executive team, helping to prioritise time and keep things running smoothly
- Coordinate meetings, including agendas, prep materials, and follow‑ups, so everyone’s clear and ready
- Keep an eye on inboxes where needed, helping to manage flow and flag what’s important
- Book travel and accommodation when required, making sure everything’s sorted and stress‑free
- Handle expenses and admin tasks to keep things ticking over
- Draft emails, presentations, and internal updates that reflect the tone and priorities of the leadership team
Be a Trusted Partner
- Join leadership meetings to listen, learn, and help keep things on track
- Document actions and minutes from senior executive meetings / Board level as required
- Follow up on actions and make sure the right people are looped in
- Stay close to what’s happening across the business and spot where your support might be helpful
- Get involved in projects and initiatives where your coordination or insight can add value
- Build strong relationships across teams so you’re always in the loop and able to connect the dots
Help Shape Culture and Connection
- Support the planning of team offsites, leadership sessions, and internal events that bring people together
- Take ownership of discrete projects as required
- Help with internal comms, from drafting messages to making sure updates land well
- Be a friendly, approachable presence across the business, someone people trust and enjoy working with
- Help create a sense of rhythm and calm in what can sometimes be a busy and fast-moving environment
- Act in a coaching capacity as required across the business support community
You’ll Be Ideal for This Role If You Have:
- Experience supporting senior leaders or teams in a busy, fast‑paced environment
- Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle lots of moving parts without losing sight of the detail
- Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal
- A calm, proactive approach and the ability to stay one step ahead
- Trusted working with senior stakeholders and handling highly sensitive information
- A genuine interest in how businesses work and a desire to grow into something bigger over time
- Comfortable using Microsoft 365
