We are looking for an HLTA who will:

  • Teach whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
  • Complement teachers’ delivery of the curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, pupils and academy policies and strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and assist them in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
  • Provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy in order to raise standards of achievement for all, by utilising your advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes.
  • Encourage pupils to become independent learners and to follow the Berewood Bonds.
  • Provide support for pupil welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of academy life.
