We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Lettings Consultant to join our award-winning team. Duties will include:

  • Liaising with potential new tenants to understand their individual requirements and backgrounds, to make informed recommendations of suitable properties to rent.
  • Develop a good understanding of the property portfolio.
  • Coordinating and conducting property viewings with prospective tenants.
  • Conducting periodic property inspections on behalf of our landlords.
  • Negotiating terms between the landlord and tenants.

Requirements:

  • Some previous industry experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • All those applying must be able to demonstrate a proven track record within a customer focused office environment.
  • Enthusiastic and competitive.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional approach.
  • IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quickly.
  • Full UK driving license and use of own car is essential.

Salary & Benefits:

  • An annual basic salary of £21,000p/a - £24,000p/a depending on relevant experience, plus quarterly bonuses.
  • Realistic OTE £22,000p/a - £25,000p/a.
  • Opportunities to secure additional commission via our referral incentive programme.
  • Realistic initial estimated earnings in this regard are estimated to be circa £500p/a.
  • Any business mileage incurred can also be reclaimed at the pre agreed rate.

Hours of Work:

Full Time, 5 days per week, including Saturdays with a day off during the week. Our branch openings hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Friday, and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Saturdays.
