We have various opportunities across Essex for Trainee Lettings Consultants to join our award-winning teams. At Beresfords, our staff are at the core of all that we do which is why we have an extensive rewards system to demonstrate our commitment to our staff. Duties will include:
- Liaising with potential new tenants to understand their individual requirements and backgrounds, to make informed recommendations of suitable properties to rent.
- Develop a good understanding of the property portfolio.
- Coordinating and conducting property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Conducting periodic property inspections on behalf of our landlords.
- Negotiating terms between the landlord and tenants.
Requirements:
- Some previous industry experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- All those applying must be able to demonstrate a proven track record within a customer focused office environment.
- Enthusiastic and competitive.
- Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional approach.
- IT proficient, familiar with MS Office packages and able to learn quickly.
- Full UK driving license and use of own car is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
- An annual basic salary of £23,000p/a - £27,000p/a plus quarterly bonuses upon successful completion of initial probation period.
- Realistic OTE £28,000p/a - £30,000p/a.
- Opportunities to secure additional commission via our referral incentive programme.
- Realistic initial estimated earnings in this regard are estimated to be circa £500p/a.
- Any business mileage incurred can also be reclaimed at the pre-agreed rate.

Hours of Work:
Full Time, 5 days per week, including Saturdays with a day off during the week. Our branch opening hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Friday, and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Saturdays.
