For our Innovation & Technology department in London, we are looking to hire a Vulnerability Management Manager, Full Time, Permanent Position - London, UK.

Your Role in the team:
We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management Manager to lead and coordinate the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security vulnerabilities across Berenberg. They will ensure our systems, applications, and network infrastructure are protected from threats, manage penetration testing efforts, and work closely with IT, development, and risk management teams to embed vulnerability management into our wider security strategy. This is a proactive, hands-on role for someone with strong vulnerability management experience in financial services, who is ready to help shape our security policies and procedures. The role will report to the Head of Cyber Security Operations.
What will you do?
- Vulnerability Assessment: Lead regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
- Risk Analysis: Analyse and prioritise vulnerabilities by criticality and potential impact to the organisation.
- Remediation Coordination: Work with IT, development, and other teams to develop and implement timely remediation plans.
- Reporting: Produce clear reports on assessment findings, risk analysis, and remediation status.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay current on emerging threats and vulnerabilities and apply this to continuously improve our vulnerability management programme.
- Compliance: Ensure activities meet relevant regulatory requirements and support related audits.
Who are we looking for?
- 5–7 years' experience in vulnerability management, ideally within financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Nessus, Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and network/application security practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives to completion.
