For our Innovation & Technology department in London, we are looking to hire a (Senior) ServiceNow Developer. In an era where digitalisation and modern IT infrastructure is revolutionising banking, we are shaping a technology-driven bank in which you as an IT professional will work closely with our business units. Our technology teams offer you an environment that will present you with exciting challenges - be it through the support and further development of legacy systems or the introduction of modern technologies such as AI, machine learning and highly automated trading applications.
What will you do?
- Design and implementation of intelligent ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITSM, CSM, ITOM/Discovery (CMDB/CSDM), workflow automation, and REST integrations (inbound/outbound).
- Active involvement in the conception, design, and implementation of new modules and functionalities on the ServiceNow platform.
- Analysis of existing processes and development of tailored, user-centric solution concepts in close collaboration with stakeholders, architects, and developers.
- End-to-end ownership of the development lifecycle—from feature development and testing through rollout, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Ensuring an efficient, sustainable system architecture in line with current best practices and standards.
Who are we looking for?
- A completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in ServiceNow development, ideally complemented by certifications such as CSA, CIS ITSM, CIS ITOM/Discovery (CMDB/CSDM), App Engine, Flow Designer, or Playbooks.
- Knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience working in agile environments (e.g., Scrum).
- Very good German language skills and solid written and spoken English proficiency.
- A structured, solution-oriented working style and a strong team mindset, with enthusiasm for collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
