For our Core Infrastructure Services department in London, we are looking to hire an Oracle Database Administrator. You will join an international infrastructure and platform team that values collaboration, trust and technological expertise. Together, we will build a modern and stable database environment, drive automation and innovation, and create opportunities for you to actively contribute and develop your technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Administration, configuration and implementation of databases in a demanding high-availability environment (Oracle)
- Planning and deployment of new databases
- Automation of existing processes
- Carrying out database migrations, patches and upgrades
- Providing advice and support for projects
- Ensuring the smooth operation of storage and archiving processes
Qualifications:
- A successfully completed degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience with Oracle RAC
- Several years' experience in database administration, particularly with relational database systems
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible and scripting languages (Shell) is an advantage
- Experience with Linux is desirable
