For our Events team in London, we are looking to hire a Junior Events Executive.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the events team in running the conference programme to include (but not limited to):
- Liaising with companies attending conferences – being their main point of contact and organising their logistics
- Attending all major conferences (travel required)
- Assisting with meeting turn-around where required
- Helping on the registration desk when required
- Set up and tear down
- Running webinars, smaller seminars and events as well as the ticketing calendar
- Taking on the BerenbergKids community projects
- Ad hoc tasks and activities that support the continual development of the Events Management team
- Assisting with couriers and general stock count
Qualifications
- Previous office experience in a similar environment (events knowledge beneficial but not essential)
- Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Professional and well-presented with a strong telephone manner and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Proactive, efficient, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Trustworthy, adaptable, and able to work under pressure while handling confidential information and occasional out-of-hours work
