For our Innovation & Technology division in London, we are looking to hire an Innovation & Technology professional. In an era where digitalisation and modern IT infrastructure is revolutionising banking, we are shaping a technology-driven bank in which you as an IT professional will work closely with our business units. Our technology teams offer you an environment that will present you with exciting challenges – be it through the support and further development of legacy systems or the introduction of modern technologies such as AI, machine learning and highly automated trading applications.

Your role in the team:

  • The support Engineer will diagnose Software/Hardware to a technical fix solution result. This could either be over the phone, remote or in person at the deskside.
  • You’ll cover one or more areas of expertise, assist with Upgrades & Fixes when required.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of:

  • Citrix
  • Windows OS
  • Office365
  • Intune
  • Fidessa
  • Bloomberg
  • Cisco Telephony
  • Some basic network knowledge

What will you do?

  • Acting as an internal ‘Technical Support Technician’ for all IT Workplace related support.
  • Working across a broad range of technologies and liaising across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests.
  • Responsible for answering IT requests via Tickets in ServiceNow, phone, email, live chat, or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and non-technical terms.
  • Successfully supporting the business (onsite, phone and remote) with comprehensive issue resolutions.
  • IT support at offsite conferences.
  • Perform administrative tasks in IT Systems.
  • Participate in IT Projects (e.g. Mobile Device Migration Projects).

Who are we looking for?

  • Committed and client-oriented, proactive in providing excellent customer service.
  • Proven experience/support with Windows Server, WIN10/7, Group Policy, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, UMS Admin, Mobile Devices (Apple), MAC support, Intune Admin, Telephony, Azure experience, printers, thin clients (HP & IGEL), desk setup, Bloomberg, Fidessa, Microsoft Office, Uniflow Print Server, IPC & Cisco Telephony.
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN and WIFI networks and technologies as well as leased lines.
  • Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise daily business as well as IT Projects.
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend work and out of hours support, willingness to travel to support for Berenberg Conference(s).
