What will you do?
- Lead sell-side research coverage of large-cap companies across the UK, Europe, and global markets within the Business Services sector, delivering high-conviction, actionable investment recommendations to institutional clients.
- Produce differentiated company research, including initiation notes, earnings previews/reviews and high-quality research reports.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated, fully integrated financial models, incorporating scenario, sensitivity, and valuation analysis (DCF, multiples, and sum-of-the-parts) to support earnings forecasts and stock recommendations.
- Engage extensively with institutional investors, communicating investment views through client meetings, roadshows, conference calls, and bespoke research responses; proactively generate client dialogue and contribute to revenue generation.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with company management teams, attending results presentations, investor conferences, and industry events to gather proprietary insights and enhance sector positioning.
- Support franchise growth and team leadership, mentoring junior analysts, enhancing research processes and sector databases, and ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience as an Equity Research Analyst, likely at Vice President level or above.
- Established own coverage previously across at least 2 or 3 companies, and able to join and lead initiations and coverage.
- Experience covering any sector but able to articulate clearly their interest in Business Services.
- Degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience required.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Advanced IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
