Senior Medical Manager (Office-based)

The Senior Medical Manager (Office-based) will support multiple Haematology product assets through development, launch and lifecycle management. This includes working across all areas of Medical Affairs activities such as data-generation, data-dissemination and HCP interactions. Operating in a matrix environment, the incumbent will work closely with internal colleagues, including but not limited to medical affairs, clinical operations, legal, compliance, marketing, commercial and other cross-functional business partners. The incumbent will play a key role in the establishment of BeOne Medicines as a valued collaborator and best-in-class biopharmaceutical company while exemplifying BeOne Medicines’ Core Values.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute a medical plan designed to meet shared objectives
  • Develop, track, execute and report on goals and objectives, support local Medical Affairs budget planning and management
  • Develop tactics for communicating complex scientific information to the healthcare community
  • Collaborate with cross functional team on development/localization of promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring they are fully aligned with the available data and compliance/regulatory requirements
  • Deliver high-quality medical education/training materials for internal and external stakeholders in close collaboration with field based teams
  • Support external speakers through one-on-one training on approved clinical slide sets
  • Serve as medical/science resource to other functions
  • Work in a compliant manner and contribute to the culture of the wider team up-skilling in compliance
  • Assist in the development and execution of medical projects, conferences and meetings (e.g., advisory boards)
  • Provide impactful feedback/information to internal stakeholders on emerging clinical and scientific trends from external interactions to help shape company strategy and to ensure the safe and appropriate use of BeOne products
  • Serve as liaison for the submission and review of Investigator led research proposals, facilitating the process from concept submission through to publication in collaboration with regional and global teams

Experience

  • Previous experience as Medical Manager or similar role within other biotech/pharmaceutical companies
  • Strong knowledge of ABPI Code of Practice, working towards becoming a Final Medical Signatory
  • Experience of working in haematology malignancies therapy area preferred

Capabilities And Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic matrix environment
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, the local health care system, and clinical guidelines
  • Able to lead training initiatives and best practices
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • MS Office skills are required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
