Job Description
This role encompasses working any 5 of 7 days in a week, with regular weekend work. You will offer the highest standard of service, providing a positive and efficient customer experience by preparing and serving quality food and beverages, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
- Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
- To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
- Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
- To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
- Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
- To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
- Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
- To attend all training and development course as requested.
- To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
