We are looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Science and Industry Museum Cafe in Manchester
Rate:£13 per hour
Contract:Part-time
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in preparing and serving barista-made drinks
- A passion for coffee, quality, and customer service
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
About the role
As a Barista, you will:
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and cold beverages
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Benugo’s coffee and tea offerings
- Support the Head Barista in training and developing team members
- Ensure all coffee equipment is used, cleaned, and maintained properly
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintaining high standards at all times
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures consistently
- Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site
- Assist with day‑to‑day operational tasks to support the wider team
