We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Café Supervisor to join our vibrant team at one of the most iconic cultural destinations in the world — The British Museum. Our cafés serve freshly brewed coffee, delicious sandwiches, vibrant salads, and indulgent cakes — all crafted with care and quality. As part of the Benugo family, we’re committed to creating memorable experiences for every guest, just as unforgettable as the museum’s treasures like the Rosetta Stone.
As a Café Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations — from taking orders and preparing coffee to overseeing units. You’ll lead by example, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations throughout the day.
Please note that we’re a 7-day operation, so we’re looking for candidates with full-time availability and the flexibility to work any day of the week (Monday–Sunday). Shifts typically run between 9:00am and 7:00pm, with occasional later finishes on Fridays (up to 9:00pm).
About the Cafe Supervisor role:
- To oversee the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our product and the service we provide are of highest standard at all times
- To support management team in working towards improving sales and service
- Ensuring high levels of Food and Health & Safety are maintained at all times
- Act as manager in management absence and motivate the team
- Cash up duties after training
- Stock control
- Schedule design and daily allocation of tasks.
About you:
- A Cafe Supervisor experienced working in high volume operations
- Excellent communicator and leader with the ability to motivate and inspire
- The ideal candidates will possess good food and beverage knowledge in addition to outstanding customer service, and leadership skills.

- Salary: £14.00 per hour
- Shifts: 5 days out of 7
- Contract: Full Time/ Permanent

- Minimum 1 year experience in similar roles (required)
