The predicted salary is between 28 - 32 £ per hour.
We are looking for Events Supervisors to join the team at the famous Natural History Museum. This role will cover running a variety of events at Benugo Natural History Museum London; supporting events manager with detailed planning, liaison with event host, hospitality team including the kitchen, suppliers, distribution of event related information, supervision of support staff, keeping client up to date, and provide post event feedback.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience running events within a similar operation and managing people.
Shifts: Rotating shifts across a 7-day operation, with shift patterns between 7:00am and 2:00am.
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with potential for more.
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Location: Natural History Museum London
Contract: Full time, permanent
About the Events Supervisor role:
- Supporting events manager with timely daily administration requirements
- Order products/services for each delivery/event
- Ensure all weekly food, drinks, packaging and equipment stocktakes are accurate
- Support larger events when required across the Event/Hospitality business
- Ensure all food and service is consistent
- Provide the team with relevant training to enable consistency high performance standards
- Provide timely feedback to the Venue manager
- Consistently demonstrate and apply health, safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain high standards of punctuality, attendance and personal presentation
- Support the wider team through proactive teamwork and cooperation
- Actively participate and contribute towards achieving goals
- Maintaining up-to-date and detailed knowledge of the company's products, services and procedures
- Contributing to strategic projects or group initiatives as and when required
About the ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- PC literate and proficient in Outlook, Word & Excel
- Strong team player.
- Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Passion for food and wine is a plus!
