Kitchen Porter at Benugo, Cafe at the Palace
We are looking for Kitchen Porter to join the team at Cafe at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. As aMember of the Team mainly you will be ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times whilst also helping with general food prep.
About the Kitchen Porter role:
- Ensure the kitchen and all equipment are kept clean and hygienic at all times
- Wash dishes utensils, pots and pans efficiently
- Support chefs with basic find prep when required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Back of House area (including floors, surfaces, bins)
- Ensure correct use of cleaning products and follow food safety procedures
- Unload and store deliveries safely and in the correct areas
- Assist with waste management and recycling
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Follow Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines at all times
- Be punctual, reliable and ready to support where needed
- Training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essentials!
