Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Events Supervisor to join our team at Wellcome Collection. The successful candidate will oversee various functions such as canape receptions, corporate meetings, and other predominantly daytime events as part of our dedicated events team.

We Offer:

  • Hours: Full Time
  • Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
  • Shifts: Any 5 days out of 7 (mostly daytime)
  • Contract: Permanent

About the Events Supervisor role:

  • Maintain accurate and timely daily administration requirements
  • Order products/services for each delivery/event
  • Ensure all weekly food, drinks, packaging, and equipment stocktakes are accurate
  • Ensure all food and service is consistent
  • Provide the team with relevant training to enable high performance standards
  • Provide timely feedback to the Venue manager
  • Consistently demonstrate and apply health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Support the wider team through proactive teamwork and cooperation
  • Actively participate and contribute towards achieving goals
  • Maintain up-to-date and detailed knowledge of the company\’s products, services, and procedures
  • Contribute to strategic projects or group initiatives as required
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong team player
