We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Events Team Leader to handle the set up and service of catering for meetings, conferences, workshops, and receptions at Victoria & Albert Museum.
About the Events Team Member role:
- Assist in setting up and breaking down events spaces, including table arrangements and buffet stations.
- Set up and service of coffee, teas, beverages, and food for meetings and conferences.
- Efficiently manage the arrangement of breakfast and wine receptions, maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards.
- Support events staff during receptions, ensuring seamless delivery of service in accordance with clients' expectations.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to uphold excellent service throughout each event.
- Brief the events team on event details, including timings, clients' requirements, and service expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and storage of crockery, glassware, and other catering equipment following daytime deliveries and setups.
- Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, properly stored, and prepared for future use.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and health regulations at all times.
- Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the manager, ensuring continuity of service and operations.
