We are recruiting for three Security Guards to join our Security team at Bents! This is an ideal role for someone who is reliable, observant, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment. You will play a key role in protecting our premises, colleagues, and customers while delivering a professional and approachable presence across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring site access and egress points
  • Conducting regular patrols across the premises
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies in a calm and effective manner
  • Ensuring the safety and security of colleagues, customers, and visitors
  • Monitoring CCTV systems and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Supporting with opening and closing procedures
  • Liaising with colleagues and emergency services where required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a security role within retail is desirable
  • Excellent observation and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A proactive and responsible approach to work
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
  • Basic IT skills for reporting and monitoring systems

Other details

There are two roles available for 20 hours per week and one role available for 30 hours per week. Shifts will work on a rota basis covering the days Wednesday to Sunday. Please note each rota for each vacancy will include working one day at the weekend as a minimum. A flexible approach is required as the shifts include working evenings, weekends and with notice shift swaps of night shifts. The role is on a permanent basis. The role offers £12.90 per hour.
