We are recruiting for a Demi Chef to join our Chef Brigade at Bents. Join our passionate kitchen team where fresh ingredients, creativity, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do. Our Demi Chef role offers up to £12.50 per hour with professional pay growth. Full time contract, offering annualised hours as an average of 40 hours per week. Great working hours across Monday - Sunday, no split shifts. Easter Sunday, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year off.

What’s the Demi Chef role? We’re looking for an ambitious Demi Chef to thrive in a large, supportive brigade, working with the very best produce. You’ll play a key role in delivering high standards, while developing your own skills and helping grow the next generation of chefs. This is a busy role so you’ll need to be used to working in a similar fast paced food environment, working with fresh ingredients and used to working under pressure.

Other details of the Demi Chef role: The role offers full time hours of 40 average weekly hours annualised over a 12 month period, stepping up your hours at peak (October to December) and working less in non-peak (January - March). You’ll have one set day off each week, and work alternate weekends and an evening shift (but only until 8-9pm). Please note, during the induction and training period of 6 months, the successful candidate will need to work every weekend having 2 weekday shifts off.
