Job Details

• Title: Independent Prescriber Pharmacist
• Location: Birmingham
• Duration: 3-month contract with potential extension
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (including 1-hour lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Pay Rate: £35-£40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medication reviews
• Screen and check prescriptions
• Support prescribing and optimize medication use
• Collaborate with GPs and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements & Qualifications

• Current and valid GPhC registration
• Independent Prescriber qualification (IP)
• Experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch break. The initial contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
