This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dundee for Site Joiners. The role involves installing bespoke joinery and fitted interiors on client sites, ensuring all work is completed to Bentleys’ quality standards and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, preparing and setting out work areas, installing doors, frames, wall panelling, counters, and other joinery components, and making precise adjustments on site. The Site Joiners will collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to plan work sequences, resolve on-site issues, and maintain a safe, tidy working environment. The role also includes completing finishing details, carrying out quality checks, and representing Bentleys professionally with clients and site contacts.
Qualifications
- Strong practical joinery skills, including first and second fix joinery, accurate measuring, cutting, and installation of bespoke components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site plans, and translate them into high-quality finished work.
- Solid understanding of on-site health and safety practices, safe use of power tools and hand tools, and adherence to company and site regulations.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on busy sites.
- High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship, with a focus on quality finishes and meeting client expectations.
- Time-management and problem-solving skills, including the ability to plan work efficiently, adapt to changing site conditions, and meet deadlines.
- Recognized joinery or carpentry qualification (e.g., apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent) and relevant on-site experience in fit out or similar environments.
- Full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel to various local sites as required.
