This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c6 people) in a fast-paced technology environment. It requires a strong engineering background including Linux administration, Network configuration/Troubleshooting, Kubernetes, Cloud technologies and Puppet/Ansible. The role will not be "hands on" day to day, but more owning architectural decisions and managing/prioritising the workload of the team and projects.

The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit their offices (once a month) for important meetings (Newcastle).

Experience required for the Infrastructure Team Lead roles:

  • 7yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
  • Team leading/Management experience
  • Linux administration skills
  • Solid Kubernetes knowledge
  • Solid networking/security understanding/experience
  • Ansible

Salary for the Infrastructure Team Lead role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £75,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
