This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c7 people) in a fast-paced technology environment. It requires a strong engineering background including Linux administration, Network configuration/Troubleshooting, Kubernetes, Cloud technologies and Puppet/Ansible. The role will not be "hands on" day to day, but more owning architectural decisions and managing/prioritising the workload of the team and projects.

The role can be remote with the proviso that you can visit their offices for important meetings (Newcastle).

Experience required for the Infrastructure Engineer roles:

  • 7yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
  • Team leading/Management experience
  • Linux administration skills
  • Kubernetes knowledge
  • Solid networking/security understanding/experience
  • Ansible and/or Puppet

Salary for the Infrastructure Manager role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £75,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
