The Customer Solutions Specialist role exists to ensure that Seequent’s technology delivers meaningful outcomes for customers. Operating at the intersection of technology, sales, and customer success, you will help customers understand how to optimise their data management practices using Seequent solutions. As part of the regional Customer Solutions team, you will support complex solution‑based sales cycles and long‑term customer relationships, contributing directly to Seequent’s growth and reputation across EMEA. This is an opportunity to become a recognised expert across multiple products while maintaining close proximity to customers and real‑world use cases.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a technical partner to regional sales teams throughout the customer lifecycle
- Design and recommend solution architectures aligned to customer needs and expectations
- Deliver demonstrations, webinars, and customer training sessions
- Support customers in improving their data management processes and outcomes
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively support positive experiences
- Assist with product upgrades, new releases, and the introduction of new solutions
- Build long‑term credibility by being responsive, knowledgeable, and accountable
Your contribution helps position Seequent as a long‑term partner rather than just a software provider.
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required
- Experience in geoscience data solutions, best practice data management, and subsurface data workflows - 5 years minimum; Experience in cloud solutions would also be desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in geology, hydrogeology, earth sciences, engineering, or a closely-related discipline;
- Operational experience in mine operations, exploration, civil ground engineering, consulting an advantage;
- Experience using, developing, or testing commercial software in fields of GIS, geospatial, 3D modelling, geoscience, numerical modelling or data management, an advantage;
- Experience in MX Deposit, Imago, Central, and Leapfrog would be advantageous;
- Technical orientation and natural curiosity for how software works and a passion for being regarded as an expert user and technical guru;
- Relationship building abilities;
- Demonstrable ability to support sales with technical information and insight, advice, demonstrations, solution architecting, best practice, innovative ideas etc during pre-sales phase to ensure we are crafting a winning solution for the opportunity that gains mindshare and credibility;
- Demonstrable ability to confidently provide pre-sales technical and solution support to the sales teams, and lead and own the technical aspects of prospect and customer engagements;
- Keep sales teams and management updated proactively on progress of all solutions, presales, and post-sales;
- Be able to demonstrate and train customers across the entire software solution set, with style, proficiency and knowledge in C level and technical audience customer meetings;
- Confident oral and written communication skills in English. Additional languages advantageous;
- Proven team player with a self-starter attitude with ability to work well independently and self-manage workload effectively;
