Position Summary: Are you passionate about transforming raw data into strategic assets? We are seeking a Product Manager of Data Experience to be at the forefront of our data transformation. This isn’t just about managing a backlog; it’s about shaping Bentley's data strategy and delivering trusted, high-impact data products that empower our business teams to optimize performance and accelerate growth. You will be the crucial link between business ambition and data-driven reality, ensuring that data is our most powerful tool for success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own, and shape the data product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and stakeholder needs across Bentley's business units.
  • Drive the strategy for connecting data across business processes, including the integration of data from various enterprise source systems.
  • Monitor industry trends and blend best practices in data and product development to keep Bentley at the cutting edge.
  • Act as the primary data partner for leaders and stakeholders across various business units, deeply understanding their processes, challenges, and analytical needs.
  • Translate complex business questions, user needs, and business requirements into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and data product plans.
  • Facilitate communication between technical (e.g., data engineering, business intelligence) and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of our data products and strategies.
  • Manage the data product lifecycle—from ideation, planning, and discovery to development, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate efforts to drive projects to completion, guiding the creation and refinement of data products.
  • Define and monitor success metrics for data products, demonstrating their value and impact on business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably with a focus on data, analytics, or internal business applications.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, and product management principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into technical specifications for data engineers and analysts.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and articulate a clear product vision to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Hands-on experience with core enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and analysis is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake) and BI (e.g., Power BI) platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
